Over the course of his distinguished career, John F. Lang has helped countless people facing estate litigation matters. As a founding partner of Law Offices of John F. Lang, he works with clients in the New York City area to navigate these highly personal matters. His goal is to provide those he represents with a sense of clarity regarding their case and the support of an experienced attorney who cares about the outcome.
His commitment to clients for more than 40 years has resulted in a number of honors and awards for Mr. Lang, including earning the highest rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell; holding an Avvo "Superb" rating; getting selected for The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100; and earning a spot on the American Society of Legal Advocates Top 100.
These successes stem from Mr. Lang's exceptional litigation skills, and knowledge of state and federal laws regarding estate planning. His caseload includes work on matters such as estate administration, probate litigation and will contests. Taking a results-oriented approach to every case, Mr. Lang helps his clients establish clear goals, and then he develops a strategy that prioritizes them.
A published author, Mr. Lang maintains his involvement in the legal community through organizations including the New York State Bar Association's Trusts and Estates Law and Dispute Resolution sections and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He also enjoys membership in the American Bar Association's International Law Section and its Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section; the Litigation Counsel of America; The National Trial Lawyers; and the American Society of Legal Advocates.
A combat veteran with the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Lang earned a Bachelor of Arts from The City College of New York in 1964. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Fordham University Law School in 1967.
