A partner at Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler, P.C., Marshall B. Bellovin is an experienced litigation attorney serving clients throughout the New York City metropolitan area and across the country. Focusing his practice primarily on employment law, he provides defense representation to companies that are involved in lawsuits concerning workplace discrimination, employee benefits, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other related matters. Mr. Bellovin also represents companies in workers' compensation appeals hearings.

A 1965 recipient of a Bachelor of Arts from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Mr. Bellovin pursued his legal education at New York Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1968. While in law school, he was a member of the school's Moot Court Association. Mr. Bellovin subsequently received a Master of Arts from New York University.

Mr. Bellovin began his legal career with a leading New York City insurance defense firm. After later heading his own practice, he joined Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler, P.C., in 1994. Admitted to practice before all New York state courts, Mr. Bellovin is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

An active participant in several professional organizations, Mr. Bellovin is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Since 1998, he has served as an adjunct professor at Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
