As owner of the Law Offices of Michael V. Cibella, LLC, Mr. Cibella is committed to representing clients throughout New York, New York, and the surrounding area. Mr. Cibella has more than 29 years of experience practicing criminal law, first as a senior prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and for the last 21 years representing a variety of clients charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in New York State Court as well as in Federal Court. Mr. Cibella's successes include hundreds of cases that have ended with non-jail dispositions, no criminal findings or dismissal of charges.  

If a case cannot be resolved, Mr. Cibella has the experience and skill to go to trial and has achieved acquittals in cases charging clients with Murder in the Second Degree, Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, Obstruction of Breathing, Gang Assault, Assault in the First Degree and more.

Licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Cibella is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of several legal organizations, including the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Defenders Association and The New York Criminal Bar Association.
