Moshe Maimon is a partner at Levy Konigsberg LLP. Focusing his practice on complex mass tort and other personal injury cases, he provides representation to plaintiffs in litigation involving asbestos and mesothelioma, defective drugs and consumer products, toxic substances and medical malpractice. Mr. Maimon also assists clients who have been the victims of consumer fraud, and he coordinates the firm's commercial litigation practice.
A 1983 recipient of a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College, Mr. Maimon attended Brooklyn Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1986. While in law school, he clerked at Levy Konigsberg LLP and joined the firm after graduation. Admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Washington, Mr. Maimon is also admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
During his career, Mr. Maimon has been able to obtain and defend on appeal many multimillion-dollar settlements and jury awards for his clients, including an award in excess of $10 million against Exxon/Mobil in a mesothelioma case and a $40 million judgment on behalf of the surviving family members of a prominent advertising executive who had contracted mesothelioma as a result of being exposed to asbestos while working at a warehouse during college. In devoting his practice to mesothelioma cases, Mr. Maimon has distinguished himself as an industry-leading attorney on cases of mesothelioma from talc exposure. Mr. Maimon's successes have not gone unnoticed by his fellow professionals, as evidenced by his receipt of an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
