Robert L. Greener is the founder of The Law Office of Robert L. Greener, located in New York, New York. Providing representation to clients throughout the New York metropolitan area as well as in the northern portion of New Jersey, he has a varied legal practice that encompasses the areas of intellectual property law, construction disputes, business transactions, entity formation, entertainment law and general civil litigation. In addition to his domestic clients, Mr. Greener has significant international experience in counseling individuals and companies in the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany and Canada.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Greener attended the State University of New York at Oneonta and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. He then pursued his legal studies at what is now known as the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1988. Admitted to practice before all of the state courts of New York, Mr. Greener is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
A large portion of Mr. Greener's practice is devoted to trademarks. He provides representation in this regard at all stages of the process, from registration through completion. He also assists clients who believe that their trademarks have been infringed upon by obtaining temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions as well as litigating these issues if necessary. Mr. Greener also represents authors, screenwriters, artists, musicians and others with respect to their copyright matters and publishing and licensing issues. He has a strong background in copyright infringement litigation as well.
