Stephan H. Peskin has been practicing personal injury law in New York City since 1968. As a managing partner at New York City firm Tolmage, Peskin, Harris & Falick, which he joined in 1981, Mr. Peskin focuses on civil rights, construction law, discrimination and personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice and products liability cases. A seasoned litigator and widely recognized authority on personal injury law, he has been featured in Who's Who in American Law.

Mr. Peskin has an outstanding record of obtaining seven-figure verdicts and settlements for his clients. He secured a $6.3 million award for the family of a broker killed on 9/11 as well as a $4.3 million verdict for a family from Turkey. In the case of a Virginia chef who was electrocuted, he obtained a $2.25 million verdict. He also represented a Staten Island client who was awarded $2 million after he suffered injuries in a head-on accident.

After he graduated with his bachelor's degree from New York University, Mr. Peskin attended Brooklyn Law School and obtained his law degree. He went on to become licensed in both New York and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 4th Circuits as well as the District of Columbia Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Peskin has authored a number of published articles on a wide range of civil legal topics, such as maximizing settlements and negotiation strategies. In addition, he has published materials on criminal topics such as plea bargaining, the use of polygraphs and hypnosis, and client interviews.
