As a managing partner at Danna & Associates, PC, Anthony S. Danna is dedicated to serving clients with elder law matters in New York, New Jersey and Florida. From the firm's main office on Staten Island, he addresses the needs of the elderly and disabled with regards to elder law, estate planning and administration, probate disputes, and litigation regarding trusts and wills.
Mr. Danna earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from the University of Florida in 1978. He then received his master's degree in business administration from New York University in 1990. In 1994, he was awarded his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. He furthered his education in elder law by receiving an LL.M. from Stetson University College of Law in 2010. In addition, he is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute with a designation of chartered financial consultant. Mr. Danna is also a certified financial planner.
In 1994, Mr. Danna founded the predecessor to his current firm, providing legal counsel and representation to the special needs of the disabled and elderly people on Staten Island. Since that time, his practice has expanded to include clients in New Jersey and Florida. He is admitted to practice before all New York, New Jersey and Florida state courts.
Mr. Danna is an arbitrator for the New York City Small Claims Court and a member of the Surrogate Decision-Making Committee at the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs. In addition, he is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. Active in his community as well, Mr. Danna is a member of the board of directors of Meals on Wheels of Staten Island, Inc.
