As an associate attorney with the Conmy Feste Ltd. law firm in Fargo, North Dakota, Mara C. Brust represents clients throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. Having practiced law for the past five years, she assists individuals, families and business owners with their legal needs related to the following practice areas:
A native of Fargo, Ms. Brust graduated summa cum laude from North Dakota State University in 2007, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in journalism, broadcasting and mass communication technologies. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011, and the State Bar Association of North Dakota admitted her to practice that same year. Additionally, the Minnesota State Bar Association has issued its approval for her to practice in its courtrooms.
While she was in law school, Ms. Brust served on the editorial and article review boards for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law and she volunteered with Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota. Additionally, she completed internships with the Department of Justice’s Fraud Section in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of North Dakota in Fargo and for U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan of North Dakota.
Dedicated to her community as well as her practice, Ms. Brust remains active in several community and professional organizations. In addition to serving on the City of Fargo's Planning Commission, she is a board member for The Arts Partnership and serves on the board of governors of the North Dakota Association for Justice. She is also a member of the Cass County Bar Association.
