Edward C. Ahlers is a partner with the Ohio law firm of Crowley Ahlers & Roth Co LPA. Since his graduation from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1982, attorney Ahlers has been practicing law in the Cincinnati area in a number of capacities. After joining his law firm in 1988, he focused his practice on a few exclusive areas of law, including:
The Ohio State Bar Association admitted Mr. Ahlers to practice in 1982, and he received permission to practice from the Rhode Island Bar Association in 1986. Additionally, he is permitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
Mr. Ahlers has won several appeals before the Supreme Court of Ohio related to workers’ compensation cases. His successful attempts appealing disability claims before both the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit are a result of his extensive knowledge of the nuances of Social Security Disability law and his experience navigating complicated injury cases. His client-first mentality has resulted in a stellar reputation as one of the leading Cincinnati-area attorneys for these types of cases.
As a legal professional, attorney Ahlers holds active memberships in the Cincinnati Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Beyond the courtroom, he is deeply committed to his local community, as seen in his past involvement with Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor.
