As a managing shareholder at Bonezzi Switzer Polito & Hupp Co. L.P.A., Jeffrey W. Van Wagner is committed to representing people in Cleveland and throughout the state of Ohio. He focuses his practice on defending clients involved in health care professional liability and general liability cases.
After beginning his undergraduate studies at Creighton University, Mr. Van Wagner went on to graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from John Carroll University in 1975. He then earned a Juris Doctor in 1979 from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Van Wagner served as the associate editor of the school's law review. Upon graduation from law school, he was invited to join the Order of the Coif.
For more than 35 years, Mr. Van Wagner has successfully defended clients accused of wrongdoing such as medical malpractice and nursing home liability. He has brought a number of cases to trial and has experience working with government agencies on the state and federal level. In addition to providing sound legal representation, Mr. Van Wagner also helps clients identify and mitigate risks.
