While pursuing an education in law, he worked for a public defender's office as a legal intern. After graduating, he immediately began working as a trial lawyer, building courtroom experience.

For almost 40 years, Mr. Hennenberg has assisted clients in defending themselves against allegations of white collar crime. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Hennenberg is also admitted to the following courts: the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Legal community involvement has been an important part of Mr. Hennenberg's career as an attorney and he has served on numerous committees for a number of organizations, delivered several lectures on a wide variety of legal topics, appeared as a legal guest panelist for radio and television programs, and is the author of several professional publications and articles which have been printed in newsletters and legal journals.
