Ms. Oliver focuses her practice primarily in representing those who have been deprived of their ability to live a full and happy life due to injury or discriminatory practices. She works for parents and families of those seriously injured by defective products, including prescription drugs, as well as those suffering losses due to the negligence of others in vehicle, motorcycle, and truck crashes. Ms. Oliver's litigation practice also includes representing employees who have been wrongfully terminated as a result of discriminatory practices, including whistleblowers protected by the qui tam laws, age, race, gender, religion, overtime and labor laws, FMLA, as well as employees in administrative and disability appeals.
She is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Ohio and in the United States Supreme Court. She is past President of the Ohio Women's Bar Association and the Central Ohio Association for Justice, and she served as a Trustee for the Ohio Association for Justice. She has been in charge of the Pro Bono Project for the federal courts through the COAJ for many years.
Ms. Oliver spends her time volunteering for a charitable organization, The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan.org) and has been appointed to an Advocacy Coordinator position which advocates support and funding for pancreatic cancer research, encouraging federal lawmakers to maintain funding and support for labs and breakthrough technologies.
