After more than 40 years practicing law, Victor P. Kademenos still loves the hands-on work he does for clients every day. He describes each case “as if it were a snowflake — each one with its own unique pattern. Every client who comes through my door deserves their own individual attention.” Kademenos approaches each workers’ compensation or personal injury case with the same attention and care as though he were representing a member of his family.
He is committed to treating each client with the compassion and respect he or she deserves. He makes it a priority to listen to their concerns and needs. He gives them a voice so that they can be heard and receive fair compensation that will help rebuild their lives following an injury.
Kademenos has won numerous awards for his legal knowledge and professionalism. He also has held leadership positions in his field, including serving as chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee. He is a board certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and also served on the Special Legislative Committee for Workers’ Compensation Legislation in the state of Ohio.
His extensive experience as a personal injury attorney and a leader in Ohio workers’ compensation law allows him to provide the highest quality representation for personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kademenos grew up as the son of Greek immigrant parents who taught him the value of education and hard work. He began his undergraduate studies at Ohio University in their pre-med program. Following some soul searching, he decided to pursue another path. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics with Honors. Though accepted to medical school at Ohio State University, Kademenos followed his heart and went on to earn a law degree from Ohio State University.
Upon graduation, Victor Kademenos served as a Captain in the United States Army Adjutant General Corps. His first position as a civilian attorney was as an associate with the firm of Calhoun and Benzin located in Mansfield, Ohio. William Calhoun, an ex-FBI agent, had founded the firm in 1946. Kademenos took over as senior partner in 1991. He then expanded the practice into Sandusky, Port Clinton, and Delaware. Recently, with younger attorneys on the rise, a decision was made to recognize their individual talents by renaming the firm Kademenos, Wisehart, Hines & Lynch Co., L.P.A.
