Eric J. Purchase has been representing people in personal injury cases in northwestern Pennsylvania since 1991.  He began his practice with a large Erie firm and focused on both commercial litigation and insurance defense.  He had cases and clients around the country and the globe, including Singapore, the Netherlands and Brazil.  In 2006 he started a solo practice that focused on the representation of injured people in their claims against negligent tortfeasors and insurers.  In 2010 he formed Purchase & George, P.C. where he continues to focus on the representation of the injured.  Mr. Purchase is an active speaker who has given seminars to attorneys and insurance professionals on subjects including trial tactics, auto law, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice law and other personal injury subjects.  He is an officer and member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, is Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of the Erie County Bar Association, is a repeat chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Erie County Bar Association and is a member of various other professional organizations.
