With more than three decades of legal experience under his belt, Jonathan B. Mack works diligently to achieve fair settlements for his clients who have been harmed by the negligence of others, including wrongful death, industrial accidents and animal attacks. Mr. Mack, a Pennsylvania native who joined the team at Marcus & Mack Attorneys at Law in 1992, tries cases in both state and federal courts and serves a diverse client base throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania.
An alumnus of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Mr. Mack graduated cum laude in 1980 with a dual degree in English and Spanish. He subsequently studied at the University of Toledo College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1983. Following law school, Mr. Mack served as attorney and partner at Mack and Bonya and then, demonstrating his diverse professional interests, worked briefly as an automobile wholesaler in Boulder, Colorado, before returning to legal practice in 1991.
A member of the of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1983, Mr. Mack is licensed to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In 2012, he was named the Indiana County Male Civic Leader of the Year, due to his active involvement with community organizations such as the Indiana County Salvation Army, the Indiana Experiment and the J.S. Mack Foundation. He currently serves as the foundation's president.
Mr. Mack is the past president of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the current vice chair of Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Council of Trustees. He was selected by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel as a member of The Nation’s Top One Percent in 2015. He additionally holds a "Superb" rating from his peers through Avvo.
