A practicing criminal defense attorney for more than 25 years, Gregory P. Isaacs is the founder of The Isaacs Law Firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. Focusing his practice primarily on criminal defense, he represents clients in Knoxville and surrounding counties who have been charged with state and federal offenses, including DUI, theft, murder, drug possession and trafficking, bank and mail fraud, smuggling and child pornography. Mr. Isaacs also handles personal injury and other civil litigation matters.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Mr. Isaacs went on to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor. He is admitted to practice before all Tennessee state courts.
During his career, Mr. Isaacs has achieved several favorable outcomes for his clients, including a not guilty verdict for a local newspaper editor charged with murder in the second degree and a successful resolution to a lengthy case involving an accused serial killer. He successfully represented the subject of a federal murder and money laundering case that was later featured in a crime novel, and he also represented Swedish clients in an international custody battle following the satanic slaying of the child's family.
