Christina B. Vinson

Born and raised in Tennessee, Christina B. Vinson is an attorney at the Memphis office of the national law firm Morgan & Morgan. Providing advocacy to clients throughout the state, she focuses her practice on Social Security Disability matters. Ms. Vinson has been admitted to practice before all Tennessee state courts since 2009, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Ms. Vinson provides advice and counsel to people who are no longer able to return to work because of a physical or mental disability, and who are seeking their rightful benefits from the Social Security Administration. At the outset of the process, she helps her clients prepare and submit their initial claim, helping to ensure that it contains all necessary medical information. Unfortunately, the SSA denies the great majority of claims at the initial filing level, and in those instances, Ms. Vinson appears on their behalf during the subsequent appeals processes, including before administrative law judges, before the Appeals Council, and when necessary, before judges of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Her tenacity and her knowledge of the SSD process have resulted in her being able to obtain favorable results on behalf of many of her clients.

Majoring in both finance and accounting, Ms. Vinson attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville as an undergraduate, and in 2005, she received a Bachelor of Science. Remaining in the state for her legal education, she enrolled at The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2009. Ms. Vinson is a member of the Memphis Bar Association and other professional groups.
