As a partner with PiperBurnett, Travis L. Turner focuses his practice entirely on complex family law matters in Austin, Texas. He is dedicated to providing superior and professional service, while focusing on complicated family law issues including child custody and visitation, child relocation, complex property valuation and division, modifications, paternity, premarital and post marital agreements, spousal support, tracing and separate property assets.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio in 1999, Mr. Turner went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2003. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas, and is board certified in family law with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Turner has published various articles on cyber-evidence and business valuation, and was recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly in 2009 and from 2012 to 2015. He was also a co-presenter at the Tenth Annual Symposium of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2005. His peers have given him the distinction of AV-Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Turner has been designated a Superb Rated Attorney by AVVO.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Austin Bar Association and the Texas Association of Family Law Specialists. Realizing that family law issues can be complex and emotionally difficult for his clients, Mr. Turner believes that showing compassion and understanding is as important as being professional with each case.
