Board Certified in Family Law - Serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
Establishing her own law firm, The Fetty Firm, P.C, right after graduating from law school, attorney Rashelle D. Fetty also functions as the sole practitioner there. As a board-certified family lawyer by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, she focuses her practice on estate planning and probate, inclusive of divorce, child custody and support, adoption, wills and trusts, and heirship proceedings.
Ms. Fetty had an early introduction to the field of law, even before completing her law degree. Starting as an intern and paralegal in 2008, she joined as a clerk at one of the private firms in Oklahoma while pursuing her law degree and went on to serve the Tarrant County Criminal Court No. 10 and several other private boutique firms. During this period, she built a strong foundation in drafting documents and appeals, and preparing briefs and motions, and used the opportunity to observe court proceedings closely as well.
An alumnus of the Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Ms. Fetty completed a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Initiating her J.D. at the Regent University School of Law, she obtained her degree in 2013 from the Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law), Fort Worth, Texas. Recognizing her acumen in the legal profession, she has been nominated by her peers to the list of Tarrant County’s Top Attorneys every year since 2016.
Apart from divorce cases, Ms. Fetty takes up complex matters involving enforcement and modification of family law orders, independent administration of estates, muniment of title and other small estate proceedings. Rated with a perfect score of 10.0 on Avvo, she is described as a prompt attorney who makes sure to not make her clients feel lost in the legal jargon.
