As a founding partner of Gillespie Sanford LLP, Joseph H. Gillespie is committed to representing people in Dallas, Texas, and the surrounding areas. He focuses his practice on labor and employment law cases that involve the following: trials, litigation, overtime pay violations, individuals, unions, class-action groups, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, grievance proceedings, fraud and breach of contract.
Upon receiving a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Gillespie went on to earn a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law in 2002.
With a certification in labor and employment law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Gillespie regularly fights on behalf of clients to secure the best possible outcome, believing that employees have rights that should be pursued to the fullest extent. For his efforts in the courtroom, Mr. Gillespie has earned the highest rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell; he holds an Avvo "Excellent" rating; and he has been named in SuperLawyers.com as a Rising Star seven times and as a SuperLawyer four times.

Mr. Gillespie has also served on the Dallas Bar Association's Labor and Employment Section as the Chairperson in 2014, vice-chair 2013, secretary in 2012, and treasurer in 2011 .
