Since his acceptance to the State Bar of Texas in 1995, Larry A. Flournoy Jr. has practiced fiduciary law and has focused on lawsuits involving trusts and estates. He is a partner in the firm of Jordan, Houser & Flournoy, LLP, and practices law in Dallas, Texas, and the surrounding areas. He has previously successfully represented clients in high-profile probate litigation, fiduciary litigation and business formation cases. Mr. Flournoy is dedicated to representing trustees, beneficiaries and executors who have issues involving the Texas Trust Code or the Texas Probate Code. He often represents clients in complicated financial matters such as contests of wills, suits involving breaches of fiduciary duty and contested guardianship of trustees or questions of trust accounting.
As an attorney representing clients in trust and estate issues, Mr. Flournoy has a great deal of experience in drafting wills and trusts. He also frequently represents clients who wish to establish a guardianship for a dependent or plan the most effective way to structure an estate to create tax shelters or protection for assets. Mr. Flournoy's primary area of practice is fiduciary litigation, and he often represents clients who are engaged in lawsuits regarding estate matters and trust management.
Mr. Flournoy received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1995. He is also an executive council member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Dallas Bar Association.
