Joseph G. Isaac is an attorney with the civil litigation firm Scherr & Legate PLLC in El Paso, Texas. He focuses his practice on personal injury claims involving products liability and automobile and common carrier accidents. In addition, he handles nonsubscriber negligence claims and employment law matters, including ERISA claims. In 2004, Mr. Isaac graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts. He then continued his education at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor with highest honors in 2007. By virtue of his outstanding scholastic achievements, he was inducted into both the Order of the Coif and the Phi Kappa Phi honor society at the university. Mr. Isaac has held memberships in the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, the Learned Hand Inn and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before state courts in both Texas and New Mexico.
A lifelong resident of El Paso with many family ties in the area, Mr. Isaac is fiercely committed to using the legal system to fighting the injustices faced by his clients, who are primarily residents of El Paso and the surrounding area. "You can't take shortcuts with people's lives," he insists. He is proud of his family's heritage and its part in building the community of El Paso. He and his wife, Melissa, live in the city with their two young children.
