Charles M. Stam

I am a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs in an array of civil matters. In addition to being a partner at Thompson Stam PLLC, I am of counsel at Hinojosa Law PLLC.

My practice includes trucking, maritime, industrial, oil and gas, premises liability, products liability, and dram shop injury cases. I also represent select clients in commercial litigation and fraud matters.  On top of that, I represent clients in high impact civil rights matters with a focus on conditions of confinement claims.  Simply put, I represent worthy clients harmed by powerful interests.

I have been recognized several times by the National Trial Lawyers (Texas 40 under 40) and Super Lawyers (Texas Rising Star).  I received my undergraduate degree at Columbia and my law degree at the University of Texas, where I graduated with honors (cum laude).  I have worked under federal district judges, both as an intern in law school and as a clerk afterwards. 

I passed the bar exams and am licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.  I am also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and all federal district courts in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
