Attorney Charles Dunn of The Law Offices of Charles Dunn in Lubbock, Texas, dedicates his practice to personal injury, Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation matters. Mr. Dunn holds a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Having been admitted to practice in the state of Texas in 1980, he has more than three decades of litigation experience in both state and federal courts.
Taking an active role in his legal community, Mr. Dunn is a member of professional organizations including the Lubbock Area Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He also belongs to the South Plains Trial Lawyers Association and has previously served as director and president for the organization.
Mr. Dunn was also appointed to serve on the electric utility board of Lubbock Power & Light by the Lubbock City Council during the 2013-2015 term. In 2015, he was reappointed for a second term. Throughout his career, he has authored many articles on personal injury topics for The Lubbock Law Notes.
