The founder of Adkisson Law Firm, PLLC, located in San Antonio, Texas, David M. Adkisson focuses his practice primarily on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He assists clients throughout the southern part of the state who have been harmed by the negligence of others in cases involving medical or legal malpractice, defective products, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents. Mr. Adkisson also has an active family law practice, where he provides representation in matters involving divorce, child custody and support, alimony, property division, and domestic violence.
A longtime Texas resident, Mr. Adkisson received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 1978. He then pursued his legal studies at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1982. While in law school, he served a clerkship with a San Antonio civil litigation firm and later joined it after graduation. Admitted to practice in Texas, Mr. Adkisson is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He has been certified as a specialist in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in civil trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Adkisson has earned the respect of his colleagues for his high degree of ethics and excellent track record.
