Ron Truman has been practicing law since 1988. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Nevada, Utah, Illinois, Arizona and California. Mr. Truman practices in the areas of personal injury, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, fire related cases, negligence, products liability, insurance bad faith, contract disputes, partnership disputes, real estate disputes, construction disputes and all other types of complex commercial litigation. He also handles transactional matters, including the drafting of contracts and the creation of corporations and limited liability companies. Mr. Truman began his legal career with Kirkland & Ellis, a national law firm where he handled complex commercial litigation, representing such clients as Hughes Aircraft Company and Motorola. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he majored in business management with a concentration in finance. He graduated with High Distinction and as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1988, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 10 percent of his class. At BYU, he was awarded the prestigious Order of the Coif for his academic excellence. Mr. Truman also was the Lead Articles Editor for the BYU Law Review.
