Attorney Christin Georgelas is a partner at the highly respected Leesburg law firm of Beckman Schmalzle Georgelas & Ross, PLC. At the firm, she focuses her practice on providing the residents of northern Virginia and nearby Washington, D.C., with a wide range of family law services, including:

Ms. Georgelas earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 2006. She went on to earn her law degree from Valparaiso University Law School in 2009. She began her legal career soon after graduation from law school when the Virginia State Bar granted her admission. The District of Columbia Bar admitted her in 2010, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia followed suit with its approval for her to practice law in its courtrooms.
Today, her clients know her as a knowledgeable, professional and compassionate attorney, which has earned her a "Very Good" rating from Avvo. In addition, the legal community knows her as a dedicated volunteer, thanks to her pro bono work. She has volunteered her time with a number of organizations, including Legal Services of Northern Virginia and Leadership in the Law, where she serves as both a committee member and a mentor.
In spite of her busy practice and constant volunteering, she still finds time to be an active member of the legal community. She is a member of several organizations, including the Fairfax Bar Association and the Loudoun County Bar Association.
