Elizabeth M. Ross is a principal at the law firm of Beckman Schmalzle Georgelas & Ross, PLC. Since joining the Leesburg firm as a partner in 2015, she has continued to focus her efforts on providing high-quality family law services to the residents of northern Virginia, regardless of whether their situations merit litigation, collaborative divorce or mediation.
Ms. Ross earned a Bachelor of Arts from William & Mary in 1999 and continued her education at The George Washington University Law School, where she earned her law degree in 2002. Later that same year, the Virginia State Bar granted her admission, and she has focused on helping the residents of the commonwealth since that time.
Attorney Ross began her legal career at a well-known Leesburg family law firm, where she developed a belief in the power of alternative dispute resolution. Since joining Beckman Schmalzle Georgelas & Ross, PLC, she has continued to guide her clients to resolutions without the need for litigation.
Thanks to Ms. Ross' dedication to their needs, she has the respect of her clients, as evidenced by her "Superb" rating from Avvo. In addition, she also has the respect of the legal community for the many hours she has spent volunteering. As a result of her pro bono work, she received the Legal Services of Northern Virginia Harry L. Carrico Pro Bono Award.
In addition to Ms. Ross' work for the firm and on behalf of local volunteer organizations, she is also an active member of a number of legal and local associations. She served two years on the board of directors of the Loudoun County Bar Association, and she has held multiple leadership positions in the Junior League of Northern Virginia.
