Partner Ryan Schmalzle co-founded his Leesburg law firm, Beckman Schmalzle Georgelas & Ross, PLC, in 2014 with the goal of helping individuals and business clients in northern Virginia and nearby Maryland and Washington, D.C., reach practical resolutions to even the most complex legal challenges. At the firm, he represents clients who have needs in the following areas:
Mr. Schmalzle began his legal career in 2008 after earning his law degree from George Mason University School of Law and his admission to the Virginia State Bar. In 2009, The District of Columbia Bar granted him admission, and the state of Maryland followed suit by issuing its approval for him to practice law in its courtrooms in 2011. Today, he provides guidance and representation to clients from all three jurisdictions.
Whether working as a corporate attorney or a sole proprietor, Mr. Schmalzle has remained dedicated to his clients throughout his legal career. As a result, he has earned a number of honors, including a "Superb" rating from Avvo and a Preeminent client-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, The National Trial Lawyers included him on its list of the Top 40 under 40, and the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys selected him for inclusion on the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under Age 40 list.
Attorney Schmalzle is an active member of the legal community on local, state and national levels. He is a regular guest speaker and a member of a number of organizations, including the Loudoun County Bar Association.
