As a partner at Lustick, Kaiman & Madrone, PLLC, Adrian Martinez Madrone provides dedicated legal representation to people living in Bellingham, Washington, and throughout Whatcom County. He focuses his practice on high-end criminal defense, generally handling cases that involve felonies, white collar crimes and driving under the influence charges. He also accepts cases involving various civil legal matters such as traffic offenses and providing representation to clients seeking, or defending, restraining orders and no contact orders.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College, Mr. Madrone went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Madrone provided defense services to clients in the Tulalip Tribal Court through the University of Washington School of Law’s Tribal Court Public Defense Clinic. Upon graduation, he was invited to join the Order of Barristers.
In his private practice, Mr. Madrone draws on the knowledge and experience he gained while serving as a clerk for a King County Superior Court judge and as a public defender in King County. He understands the lasting effects that a criminal charge can have on a person’s life. For that reason, Mr. Madrone takes a personalized approach with every case so that his clients receive the quality representation they deserve.
Mr. Madrone has built a reputation on his commitment to high legal standards and acting as an advocate for his clients and their rights. He has an Avvo “Superb” rating. Outside of his work in the courtroom, Mr. Madrone is an active member of the legal community. He is a member of the Whatcom County Ethics Commission. In 2015, Mr. Madrone became an adjunct professor at Western Washington University, where he teaches in the fields of criminal law and legal studies.
