As a partner at Lustick, Kaiman & Madrone, PLLC, Mark A. Kaiman is dedicated to serving people in Bellingham, Washington, and throughout Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties. He focuses his practice on high-end criminal defense, generally handling cases that involve felonies, violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, white collar crimes and driving under the influence charges.
Mr. Kaiman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University before going on to attend Syracuse University College of Law.
Before entering into private practice, Mr. Kaiman gained valuable experience working as a deputy prosecuting attorney for San Juan County. He uses his knowledge of both sides of the courtroom to help him aggressively defend his clients and their rights. Mr. Kaiman's commitment to high legal standards and quality representation has garnered him the respect of his clients and his peers, and has earned him an Avvo "Superb" rating.
Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Mr. Kaiman. He currently serves as president of the Whatcom County Bar Association, and he is a member of the San Juan County Bar Association. In order to best serve his clients, Mr. Kaiman is admitted to practice law in the state of Washington, as well as before the Washington Supreme Court, the Washington State Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the U.S. Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals.
