Attorney Linda M. Callahan is the president and founder of Callahan Law, P.S., Inc., in Seattle, Washington. Ms. Callahan devotes her practice to defending individuals accused of DUI and other traffic-related offenses such as car accidents. She represents clients throughout Western Washington including King, Kitsap, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston counties.
After earning a bachelor's degree from Hawaii Pacific University, Ms. Callahan attained her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She is also a graduate of Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, has received breath test device manufacturer training by National Patent Analytical Systems, Inc., and is trained in standardized field sobriety testing by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Ms. Callahan is admitted to practice in numerous courts including the state courts of Washington, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, the Washington Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Extending her extensive experience in the area of DUI law into ventures outside the courtroom, Ms. Callahan is the author of the Washington DUI Practice Manual and her written material has also been featured in publications such as the DWI Journal: Law and Science and the 2005 Washington edition of The DUI Book. She has also spoken on various DUI topics at seminars and conferences at both a local and national level.
Ms. Callahan belongs to several professional organizations including the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Washington Defender Association. She is also a founding member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association and Trial Skills University.
