Michael P. Iaria has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in criminal defense, particularly those accused of serious crimes by the government. He focuses primarily on the defense of white collar crime, homicide, sexual abuse, health care fraud and other serious accusations at the state and federal levels. Mr. Iaria is qualified by the Washington Supreme Court to handle death penalty cases at the trial, appellate and post-conviction stages. In addition to representing individuals, Mr. Iaria's clients have included politicians, athletes, physicians, corporate executives, business entities, lawyers and prosecutors. One of his most notable cases involved representing the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ interests to provide effective legal services to Mexican nationals facing the death penalty in the U.S.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Vermont, Mr. Iaria earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law.
