Timothy Manchin

Attorney Timothy Manchin is the founder of Manchin Injury Law Group PLLC. When he established the Fairmont law firm in 2011, he did so to continue to provide the outstanding legal services he has provided to the residents of Marion County and the surrounding areas in northern West Virginia since 1980. Today, after a 35-year legal career, his reputation for protecting the rights of victims of negligence leads clients from throughout the region to his firm for help pursuing personal injury and wrongful death compensation related to the following:

Mr. Manchin began his legal career in 1980 after earning his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law and his admission to The West Virginia State Bar. After passing the bar, he spent three years practicing law in Princeton before returning to the Morgantown area to found a partnership with his cousin and fellow attorney. That firm became Manchin Injury Law Group PLLC when his cousin became a circuit court judge.

Over the course of attorney Manchin's career, he has built a reputation as a compassionate, yet aggressive, trial lawyer and a skilled negotiator. As a result, he has earned a number of honors from within the legal community, including a "Superb" rating from Avvo. In addition, The Best Lawyers in America has included him among the nation's top attorneys, and the West Virginia Association for Justice has given him its President's Award.

He is not only an active member of the legal community but also one of its leaders. He serves on the board of governors of the West Virginia Association for Justice, where he is also a past president.
