As a founding partner of Mishlove and Stuckert Attorneys at Law, Andrew Mishlove is committed to representing clients across the state of Wisconsin. He focuses his practice on criminal defense cases that involve operating while intoxicated charges.
After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Mr. Mishlove went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1981.
For more than 35 years, Mr. Mishlove has been committed to helping people retain their driver’s licenses and their freedom by successfully building a strong OWI defense. He pulls together eyewitness accounts and evidence to create the argument that challenges criminal charges. He also tenaciously conducts cross-examinations of the prosecution’s witnesses in order to secure a favorable outcome for clients. For his successes, Mr. Mishlove holds an Avvo “Superb” rating.
The National College for DUI Defense has certified Mr. Mishlove as a drunk driving defense specialist, making him the first person in Wisconsin to hold this title ( Mr. Mishlove's partner, Lauren Stuckert, is Wisconsin other board certified specialist in OWI defense). Mishlove and Stuckert are, thus, Wisconsin's only true ABA accredited specialists in the field. The NCDD has also named Mr. Mishlove to its Board of Regents, one of less than twenty lawyers in America to achieve that distinction.
The former Chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Criminal Law Section, Mr. Mishlove remains active in the legal community. He formelry represented several states as a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ drunk driving committee, and he has taught many seminars on topics relating to OWI defense. A published author in both local and national publications, Mr. Mishlove is a 2004 graduate of the Spence Trial Lawyers College. Additionally, he has taught many courses in chemical testing, breath testing and blood testing. Mr. Mishlove is the co-author of Wisconsin OWI Defense, the Law and Practice, which is Wisconsin manual for attorneys on how to defend OWI cases.
In 2015, Mr. Mishlove developed the nation's most advanced courses for lawyers, ibn forensic science and trial advocacy. The Serious Science: Blood Analysis and Trial Advocacy courses, which Mr. Mishlove directs, combine intense study of forensic science with small-group workshops in trial advoicacy, applying the techniques taughht at the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.
