Brannon J. Buck is a founding partner of Badham & Buck, LLC. An AV-rated* attorney, he handles complex commercial tort and contract cases, class actions, intellectual property disputes, and other business litigation. Mr. Buck is the President of the Alabama State Bar for 2023-2024.
Mr. Buck graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1997. He is a member of the Order of the Coif, the Order of the Barristers and a recipient of the Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award. He is also a graduate of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum and the National Trial Academy of the American Bar Association-Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section.
In June 2022, Mr. Buck became the President-Elect of the Alabama State Bar. He will serve as President in 2023-2024. Mr. Buck served on the Board of Bar Commissioners of the Alabama State Bar for nine years and as a member of the bar's Executive Council. He previously served as President of the Young Lawyers Section and as a member of the Disciplinary Commission and the MCLE Commission. Mr. Buck has chaired many committees and task forces of the State Bar, including its Bylaws Tas Force, the Attorney Wellness and Quality of Life Committee, and the MCLE Review and Revision Task Force. He has held a number of other leadership roles within the Birmingham and American bar associations. Mr. Buck is also a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation, the America Bar Foundation, and the Birmingham Bar Foundation.
An active member of his local community, Mr. Buck is a member of the Leadership Birmingham Class of 2014. He served on the board for the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation and was chairman of the board for the Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice. He has also served on the councils of Trinity United Methodist Church and Canterbury United Methodist Church. He is a former member of the Children's Hospital Committee for the Future. Mr. Buck was recognized in 2011 as a "Top 40 Under 40" by the Birmingham Business Journal.

- Obtained multiple settlements for a 911 District in Alabama against several telephone companies relating to the collection and remittance of 911 charges.
- Obtained $3.5 Million Judgment for Professional Employer Organization on breach of contract claim against insurance company.
