Bruce L. Gordon

Bruce L. Gordon is a highly experienced attorney with the Birmingham, Alabama, law firm of Gordon, Dana & Gilmore, LLC, where he handles a variety of business, corporate, family and real estate matters for clients in the Birmingham, Alabama, area as well as Alabama statewide. A lawyer for more than 50 years, Mr. Gordon represents individuals and businesses throughout Alabama in cases involving commercial lending, high-asset divorce, mergers and acquisitions, and more. He also provides advice to clients on a diverse range of legal issues, including buying and selling businesses.

A graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Gordon also earned a master’s degree in taxation from Boston University. He completed his undergraduate education at Duke University and The University of Alabama. Licensed to practice in the state of Alabama since 1965, he is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

In addition to running his law practice, Mr. Gordon is a member of organizations including the Birmingham Bar Association, where he serves on the Certified Public Accountants Liaison Committee. Over the course of his career, Mr. Gordon has delivered numerous lectures on business and tax issues for many different organizations. He has also authored articles for The Alabama Lawyer and other publications.
