Mr. Burge received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1983 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College in 1980. He was licensed to practice in Alabama in 1983 and in Georgia in 1984. He is also allowed to appear before the U.S. Federal Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Since the beginning of his legal career, Mr. Burge has primarily represented workers in railroad accidents under FELA. He has also recovered compensation for many of his clients for serious injuries including burns, traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, amputations and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, he helps clients with civil litigation issues such as bad faith insurance disputes, legal malpractice and whistleblower retaliation.
