John Clark handles a variety of matters for his clients. Mr. Clark provides general business advice and counsel to company owners and management on entity formation, debt and equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and other issues. Mr. Clark's real estate practice includes purchases and sales, landlord/tenant disputes, easements, property liens and title and boundary issues. He also represents employers and employees regarding non-compete/non-solicitation agreements, as well as minority shareholders/members in disputes with majority shareholders/members.
Mr. Clark is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2001. After obtaining a Masters in Banking & Finance from the University of Alabama in 2002, he remained in Tuscaloosa and enrolled at the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in 2005 with his Juris Doctor.
Prior to his return to Bainbridge Mims in 2024, Mr. Clark spent several years with his own firm, Clark Law Firm, where he handled complex business litigation and transactions. Admitted to practice in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida, Mr. Clark is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Throughout his career, Mr. Clark has earned the respect of his colleagues for his track record and high degree of ethics.
