Leah Johnson

Leah Johnson is an attorney at the firm Mezrano Law Firm, P.C, located in Birmingham, Alabama. Dedicated to fighting for the rights of those who have been injured due to another party’s negligent acts, she has been serving clients in Alabama for over five years. She takes on personal injury cases such as car accidents, truck accidents, nursing home abuse and more.

With a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Alabama, Ms. Johnson also has a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a minor in business administration from Louisiana State University. She attended the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, and earned her Juris Doctor in 2018 with dean’s list honors. In 2019, she became eligible to practice law after passing the bar exam.

In law school, after putting in over 30 hours of pro bono and community service, Ms. Johnson was awarded the Spirit of Service Award in 2017. She served as a board member of the Cumberland Trial Advocacy and a director of the Peterson National Trial Team Competition. She was president of Cumberland Society of the Arts and also a recipient of the “Above and Beyond” Outstanding Senior Award. 

At Mezrano Law Firm, Ms. Johnson is deeply involved in her community and is committed to giving back whenever possible. She strongly believes in the importance of serving others, which motivates her in her work with clients who are seeking justice for the injuries and damages they have experienced. 

Active in the legal community, Ms. Johnson is a member of the Judge James Edwin Inn of Court, Amigos for Christ, Project Homeless Connect and is a part of the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers Program Domestic Relations Help Desk.
