Whitney B. Polson

A prominent legal advocate within his legal community, Whitney B. Polson strives to provide his clients with the top-quality legal representation they deserve in their contentious legal matters. One of the founding partners of the law office of Polson & Polson, P.C., in Birmingham, Alabama, he is well-equipped to tackle myriad criminal defense issues involving DUI/DWIs, all aspects of felonies and misdemeanors, and expungements. 

Mr. Polson completed his undergraduate studies in 2001, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University. He went on to attend the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he bolstered his shrewd legal acumen and talents through his active involvement in numerous on-campus activities. He received his Juris Doctor in 2004, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Alabama. 

With a penchant for devising innovative strategies to problems that require an out-of-the-box solution, Mr. Polson pursues every available legal avenue to give his clients every opportunity to overcome their legal challenges without adding any undue stress onto them. For his many contributions, he has been peer-review rated Distinguished* through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a “Superb” rating on Avvo, along with many positive client testimonials on the latter site. 

Mr. Polson maintains close affiliations with prominent organizations such as the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, DUI Defense Lawyers Association (founding member), the American Bar Association, the National College for DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Association for Justice and the Birmingham Bar Association. In addition, he has received certification from the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association for completing an advanced DUI seminar and mastering scientific evidence in DUI respectively.

In addition to being a full-time DUI Defense attorney, Whitney serves as a Municipal Judge two days a month, which brings a unique perspective and experience most lawyers do not have.
