Anthony Shunnarah

Anthony Shunnarah serves as attorney and chief executive officer of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, headquartered in Daphne, Alabama. His practice centers on personal injury law, encompassing car and truck accident litigation, premises liability, product liability, workplace injury claims, wrongful death actions and mass tort cases. Since 1996, he has represented clients throughout Alabama and across the nation, guided by the conviction that the legal system should never favor the powerful over the wronged.

A native of Birmingham, Mr. Shunnarah's worldview was shaped by his family's journey to the United States, where his parents sacrificed considerably to pursue the opportunities this country promised. That legacy informs his approach to advocacy: he views the practice of law as a means of protecting the same liberties – economic, political, cultural and religious – that drew his family to America in the first place. For his clients, this translates into a relentless pursuit of full and fair compensation for the harm they've endured.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Shunnarah joined his father in launching several entrepreneurial ventures, gaining firsthand insight into marketing, leadership and the day-to-day challenges of running a business. These formative experiences shaped his founding of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in 2001, an enterprise built to serve clients while cultivating a legal team unified by a shared commitment to justice. His forward-thinking approach to branding and marketing has since propelled the firm's growth into a respected presence across Alabama and beyond. Under his leadership, the firm has assembled a collaborative team of attorneys and staff, supported by strong resources and grounded in ethical practice, all dedicated to delivering exceptional representation.

Mr. Shunnarah now resides in Vestavia and is an active member of the Church of the Highlands. He earned his B.A. in sociology and political science from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991 and his J.D. from Birmingham School of Law in 1995. He has been a member of the Alabama State Bar since 1996.
