Whittney C. Thompson

Anchoring his practice in Huntsville, Alabama, Whittney C. Thompson joined the team at New Beginnings Family Law in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. Her practice areas include divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, special needs family attorney, mediation, estate planning and military divorce attorney. She is passionate about making a positive impact on her clients' lives, working closely with them to navigate complex legal issues. However, her primary focus remains family law, where she finds fulfillment in assisting individuals through challenging times.

Originally from Priceville, Alabama, Ms. Thompson pursued her undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor's degree in dance and criminal justice, graduating with honors. During her time at the university, she actively engaged in various extracurricular activities, including serving as a dance ambassador and more. Her journey in law took her to Montgomery, Alabama, where she attended Faulkner Law – Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Her commitment extended beyond academics as she took on roles such as Honor Court chief justice and participated in the trial and moot court. 

Ms. Thompson was actively involved as the alumni coordinator on the Board of Advocates’ Executive Board, a finalist in the Southern Classic Trial Competition and served as an editor of the law review. Her involvement with the Women’s Legal Society and contributions to Meals on Wheels further highlighted her dedication to community service.

Since 2017, Ms. Thompson has been an integral part of New Beginnings Family Law, honing her legal skills across various practice areas. Her legal journey included work with several attorneys experienced in elder law and estate planning, family law and criminal defense, and pro bono estate work for the Montgomery community through the Elder Law Clinic.
