    Bar/Professional Activity:

    • From 1996 through 1997, David was a member of the Alabama State Bar Task Force on alternative methods of dispute resolution. David chaired this task force which oversaw editing of the manual produced relating to alternative methods of dispute resolution. David also served on the board for the Alabama Lawyer from 2005 through 2009. Additionally, David served on the Alabama State Bar’s Addendum Committee from 2001 through 2006. In October 2010, David organized and hosted a seminar for experienced ERISA litigators, inviting both plaintiffs and defense bar. The seminar was well attended, which included lawyers from out of state as well. The Honorable William J. Acker, federal district court judge for the Northern District of Alabama, also attended and presented at the conference along with other capable speakers, some from as far as Chicago, IL. David also made several presentations at the conference.

    • President of Board, FOCUS on Senior Citizens Volunteer Lawyer's Program for the Alabama State Bar  Disaster Relief Projects for the Alabama Association of Justice Member of a Church in the Tuscaloosa County Area
