Monica Donaldson Stewart

As the managing partner with Donaldson Stewart, P.C., Monica Donaldson Stewart represents clients in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa and throughout Maricopa County, Arizona. She focuses her practice on family law, handling cases that involve divorce, mediation, Collaborative Divorce, child support, paternity, divorce, legal decision making authority (custody) and parenting time, separation, annulments, spousal support and division of marital property.

In 1993, Monica graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) in Political Science. She then attended Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1997.

Dealing with a family law matter such as a divorce or a paternity claim can be emotionally and mentally exhausting for the people involved. Important decisions must be made and without the right information, people can inadvertently make choices that leave them at a clear disadvantage. Monica helps clients understand their legal rights and options, answering their questions and addressing their concerns. Her goal is to find the best solution available for clients’ individual situations and help them move forward with their lives.

Involvement in the legal community is important to Monica and she has served in a number of positions. She is a former President of the East Valley Bar Association and served the organization as its Treasurer for nearly a decade before taking the office of Secretary. In addition, she serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County and previously served on the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization for several years. Monica is a member of the International Acadamy of Collaborative Professionals and the Collaborative Professionals of Phoenix.
