Attorney John J. Trebon, of John Trebon, PC, dedicates his practice to various types of law, including civil rights, criminal defense, personal injury and wrongful death. He has been practicing law in the state of Arizona since 1978 and has more than a decade of legal experience representing a diverse group of clients in and around the Flagstaff area.
Mr. Trebon earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of Arizona and went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. While attending law school, he gained legal experience working for both the Law Students Civil Rights Research Council and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
An opponent of the death penalty, Mr. Trebon has helped clients avoid the death penalty in two different cases. He has also advocated in this area by serving on the board of the Arizona Capital Representation Project over the course of his legal career.
Mr. Trebon is a board member of the Board of Arizona Innocence Project and has served in a variety of different roles for this organization. He also serves on the board of the Arizona Association for Justice.
Mr. Trebon has received recognition for his contributions to the legal profession in his chosen areas of law, including being named a sustaining member of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group of attorneys who have collected verdicts or settlements in excess of one million dollars for their clients.
