His primary focus and fervent passion lie in criminal defense, resulting in exceptional benefits for his clientele.
A renowned attorney, Mr. Reed offers his services to clients across Arizona. His proficiency spans a wide range of significant criminal offenses, including severe assault, sexual assaults, murder, child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, narcotic crimes, DUI, federal violations, forfeiture cases, homicide, mental health cases, post-conviction appeals as well as theft and white collar criminal cases, among others.
Notably, Mr. Reed has achieved outright jury trial acquittals (not guilty on all charges) in significant felony cases, particularly in charges related to sexual assault, sexual conduct with a minor, indecent exposure involving a minor, kidnapping, sale or transportation of narcotic drugs and felony possession of narcotic drugs.
What truly distinguishes Mr. Reed is his unique approach to customer service and client communication. He firmly believes that clients should always be aware of the developments in their cases. Mr. Reed obtained his B.S. in real estate from the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2012, followed by his J.D. cum laude from Arizona Summit Law School in Phoenix in 2015. He also undertook a judicial externship with the Honorable Sherry Stephens of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Before enrolling in law school, he gained invaluable practical experience as an intern at the Clark County Public Defender's Office. This immersive understanding sparked a deep-seated ardor within him to represent individuals who are unable to advocate for themselves.
Following the completion of his legal studies, Mr. Reed secured his professional license to practice law in Arizona within a year. He is also authorized to present cases before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Furthermore, he was included in the Top 40 Under 40 list by The National Trial Lawyers and has garnered a "Superb" rating on Avvo, along with many positive testimonials from satisfied clients and numerous peer endorsements on the platform.
Prior to partnering at DwaneCates.com, PLLC, Mr. Reed honed his legal skills by working alongside multiple criminal defense attorneys in Phoenix, deftly handling cases that span from misdemeanors to felonies.
