David N. Horowitz is a family law mediator and attorney at Warner Angle Hallam Jackson & Formanek PLC in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Horowitz mediates and arbitrates complex family law cases in Phoenix and throughout Arizona.

Mr. Horowitz has over 30 years of experience with family law matters, including divorce, adoption, business valuation, child custody, child support, grandparents’ rights, guardianship, prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements. An accomplished litigator, he now prefers to concentrate his practice on alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and the less adversarial approach known as collaborative law.

Honored for his success and achievements, Mr. Horowitz holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a fellow and certified mediator through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and serves on the organization’s board of governors.  He is the current chair of the Family Law Advisory Commission for the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization and the current chair of the Family Law Section Executive Council.

Additionally, Mr. Horowitz is a certified family law specialist by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He is active in the State Bar of Arizona, serving as an officer of the family law executive council and as chair of the Board of Legal Specialization’s Family Law Advisory Commission.

A member of several legal organizations, Mr. Horowitz belongs to the Maricopa County Bar Association, Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Phoenix, the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the National LGBT Bar Association. He holds licenses to practice law before all Arizona state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Mr. Horowitz graduated with honors and the highest distinction from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree. He earned his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating summa cum laude.
