Dorian L. Eden

A partner at the law firm Duenas Eden Cravatta, PLC, attorney Dorian L. Eden focuses exclusively on the family legal needs of the residents of the Phoenix metropolitan area (Maricopa and Pinal counties) in Arizona. She understands the importance of handling a case properly and possesses extensive experience in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, guardianships, conservatorships, property division, business division, marital agreements, post-decree modifications and juvenile matters.

Ms. Eden holds a strong conviction that a negotiated settlement should be the preferred outcome in the majority of cases. However, she also consistently engages in court proceedings, such as hearings and trials, where disputes cannot be settled via the mutual agreement of the involved parties. She manages legal cases from their inception through the conclusion of the trial. Furthermore, she is responsible for drafting appellate briefs and engaging in oral arguments in front of the Arizona Court of Appeals, whenever necessary.

Hailing from the metropolitan region of Chicago, Ms. Eden completed her undergraduate studies at the esteemed University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her collegiate years, she chose to venture beyond her Midwestern origins, dedicating her summers to engaging in internships in Washington, D.C. and San Jose, California.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Eden decided to pursue her legal education in the Midwest and enrolled at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, from which she graduated with honors in 2002. She also worked as a judicial extern for a federal judge in Phoenix and at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. She is licensed to practice in the state courts of Arizona (2002) as well as before the federal courts of Arizona and Mexico.

Ms. Eden is a member in good standing with the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Association. She served as a judge pro tempore for approximately five years with Maricopa County. She enjoys involvement in community organizations, such as the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce and Ahwatukee Foothills National Charity League, among others. Additionally, she has volunteered on various boards at different times such as the American Heart Association – Phoenix-Metro Division.
