Ed Bull started with Burch & Cracchiolo (as a law clerk) in 1978, became an Associate in 1980, has been a Shareholder since 1985. Ed is the senior member of our Firm’s Zoning and Real Estate Department, and practices primarily in the areas of land use, zoning, General Plans, Variances, Use Permits, Site Plan Approvals, development agreements, real estate transactions, and other development-related matters. Ed’s practice also involves various administrative processes and eminent domain. Over the past 30+ years, Ed has worked on development projects ranging in size from under one acre to over 20,000 acres. The types of development projects include mixed-use master plans, regional malls, retail centers, office developments, industrial developments, multi-family communities, single family subdivisions, churches, electrical power plants, in-fill developments, etc. Ed’s clientele include commercial developers, homebuilders, landowners, master plan developers, multi-family builders and managers, real estate investment companies, automotive dealers, grocers, office developers, energy providers, and others involved in the sale-purchase, planning, zoning, construction, and management of real estate. Ed received his J.D. from Arizona State University (1980) and his B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1976). Ed and his wife, Sue, have two children and have been residents of the Valley for well over 40 years. Ed is Certified as a Real Estate Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. He is a member of the American, Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Associations, and is affiliated with various development-related associations. Ed is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Southwest Super Lawyers. Ed regularly participates in various civic, philanthropic, municipal planning, and political affairs.
